This is one of my favorite, She Shall Bring Forth A Son by Liz Lemon Swindle. Isn't it perfect? and I love it-check out her website here to see more of her beautiful artwork Anyway, there is always a different Christmas song playing in each room and the one in the Gallery is this absolutely gorgeous version of Mitt Hjerte Alltid Vanker by Sissel. I never ever get tired of it. So while I was listening to it I drew this sort-of study of His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful by Simon Dewey.
"I want to do something splendid before I go into my castle, something heroic or wonderful that won't be forgotten after I'm dead. I don't know what, but I'm on the watch for it, and mean to astonish you all some day." -Louisa May Alcott

mitt hjerte allteid vanker
It might be a little early for Christmas stuff (JUST KIDDING NO IT'S NOT) but today I was at an event we call the Nativity Exhibit where we display hundreds of nativity scenes from around the world at our church building. It's a very special and sacred way to start off the Christmas season for me and one of my favorite things is that you can volunteer to "host" a room (basically you sit in one of the rooms with the nativities and are just available to answer questions, talk to people, etc.) One of my favorite rooms is called the Gallery and it features paintings and other 2-d representations of the Savior's birth.
